Club Sites
Club Websites have to be developed for two main audiences.
- Members of the public who may be interested in the site or have some association through a club member.
- Club members.
The general audience will expect up-to-date information, for example:
- Dates of fixtures, events or productions.
- Up to the minute results.
- Reports and a photograph gallery of the latest events.
- A searchable archive.
Club members may require detailed information that may not be appropriate for general publication, i.e. team sheets, cast lists or minutes of meetings.
Content managed sites can provide all of these facilities. From experience, a club sponsor may also be very interested in the publicity generated by such a site and may be willing to pay the associated costs.
